REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered beer; sediment at the bottom of the glass. White head, some lacing at the top of
the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pineapple-forward with complementing malt presence. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Malt-forward at the start, but blends in very well with the tropical pineapple and melon. Tropical continues into the aftertaste. Controlled tropical bitterness. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Silky on the tongue. Some dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. My first beer from Wander Brewing. I believe Aslan Brewing was the only other Bellingham brewery I've reviewed to date. The big plus for me here is how well the malt and tropical work together. Awesome job. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
