REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden-orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy white head; excellent lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Soft, yet assertive tropical grapefruit, tangerine, and other citrus. Some stone fruit. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Very tropical-forward, soft yet assertive. Oaty and slight malt experience blends in with the tropical. Full of flavor throughout. Aftertaste includes wonderful citrus bitterness (held nicely in check). Otherwise fits the profile of a New England-style IPA. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Extremely juicy; trace dryness on the tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. For me, maybe a slight notch below Picnic Lightning. Another quality New England-style IPA from Brouwerij West. Perhaps one day they may distribute to the Pacific NW.... 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.663/5
