REVIEW:

Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. White head. Some lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Sweet citrus tangerine and stone fruit with slight, complementing resiny notes. The tropical shines. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Tropical from start to finish, with some resiny notes. Mostly tangerine and stone fruit. Citrus through the aftertaste. Citrus bitterness there, but kept in check nicely. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. As more and more breweries get into the hazy IPA game, I find it necessary to keep track of the breweries that I think do this style properly. Fall Brewing is one of them. The tropical is the star, and Brainwash is such an easy-drinking brew. Putting this one in the "dangerously awesome" category. I was forced to pay a pretty penny to get this (they were out of single cans at the time), but I'm happy that I have three more of these to enjoy on my own time. 4.5/5
