REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy peach-colored into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head. Nice lacing on the glass, mainly at the top. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Tropical pine and citrus, with stone fruit. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Tropical stone fruit and citrus with yeast and very slight octane for most of the experience, then amazing citrus on the aftertaste. Certainly fits the bill of a New England-style IPA, at least from the beers I've enjoyed over the years. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Juicy tropical experience, akin to your usual New England-style IPA. Bitterness is well controlled. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An excellent Double IPA. Adding another New England-style IPA to the blog, and much like the others I've had, this one was another very good choice. I got my information mostly from beer articles and not necessarily straight from the brewery itself. However, it was pricey at nearly $5 for one 16 oz can. Despite being a good beer, at the end of the day, I questioned myself as to whether I would pay for another one of these if given the chance. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.275/5
