REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Pours hazy golden orange into a tulip glass. White head. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Tropical citrus tangerine with complementing resiny notes. Juicy forward 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; tropical first then resin afterwards. Aftertaste of citrus tangerine. Very low to trace bitterness if you don't count the citrus flavors. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Juicy on the tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An awesome to excellent Double IPA. This beer had been on tap at Belmont for a week or so before I had the time to try it. I think it passes for New England-style in appearance and flavor. Resinous flavors added a nice dimension. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.2/5
