REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Pours mostly hazy golden into a pint glass. Very frothy white head; significant lacing on the glass. Top-notch quality pour. 4.75/5Smell (25%): Tons of soft tropical citrus. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Abundance of tropical citrus fruit from start to finish. Tropical seems to permeate everywhere. Any bitterness is masterfully controlled. 5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; some carbonation. Extremely juicy. 4.75/5
Overall (20%): A world-class IPA. I honestly thought I'd be waiting a lot longer to try Lunch, a beer that's been on my bucket list for a few years. Naturally, I couldn't wait to try it once I received it; only a day at the office seemingly stopped me from getting to it right away. Lunch has the drinkability, tropical citrus, and refreshing nature that should land it at or near the top of many IPA lovers' lists. If it wasn't so hard to get, I'd be drinking Lunch more often. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.85/5
