What's on the Can/Website: "Intense mango, pine, citrus and dankness. For this ale, we wanted to focus on ridiculous and aroma while keeping the bitterness in check. To do this, we employed a technique called 'hop-bursting'. Sounds pretty cool, right? We agree. This means literally 95% of the hops are added after the boiling process. The result is the nose of this beer offering massive aromas of mango, citrus, peach, pine, berries and dankness, and all while - you guessed it - not being punishingly bitter!" Read more here!

Food Pairings: Pariah Brewing suggests stinky cheeses or crispy Baja-style fish tacos.

Hops: Mosaic, Amarillo, Summit.

Malts: Pilsner, Wheat, C15.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered. White head. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Tropical hoppy grapefruit, other citrus, and berries. Any dankness complements well and does not overwhelm. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Lovely tropical hop citrus and berry from start to finish. Getting mostly grapefruit initially. Mango and berries in the middle. Combination of everything in the aftertaste. Controlled bitterness and very flavorful. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Slight dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. I really enjoyed Pariah's flagship IPA, lots of refreshing tropical citrus with the right amount of hop bitterness. I'm also loving it because it's cheaper than their Smylex IPA that I reviewed yesterday. Definitely a go-to IPA. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.513/5
