REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured slightly hazy golden into a pint glass. Appears unfiltered. White head with trace lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Tropical pineapple, grapefruit, and other citrus. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Mostly sweet citrus from start to finish. Tropical continues through the aftertaste. Refreshing. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Some dry tongue, but lovely tropical lingers. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class IPA. After enjoying lovely Double IPAs such as Animal Cookies and Sticky Hands (the various incarnations) from Block 15, The Audacity of Opacity is a stellar, tropical-forward IPA that leaves a positive impression on me. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.675/5
