What's on the Can/Website: "Tropical fruits, dankness, soft mouthfeel. Ever end up loving something that you never thought you would after experiencing the passion hat others bring to that vocation? This is a liquid tribute to those who bring their best all day, every day in whatever they do. To those who face adversity and instead of backing away they double down and refuse to accept defeat. With all that said, we knew we needed to bring our best when it came to this hop bill. Mosaic and Idaho 7 provide a foundation of piney tangerine and mango while the Ella and Enigma sing through with straight up intense stone fruit and white grape. 3 minutes left in the game and down by 10? No problem." Read more here!

Food Pairings: Pariah Brewing suggests Cajun or Middle Eastern cuisine.

Hops: Ella, Enigma, Idaho 7, Mosaic.

Where distributed: As of August 2018, Pariah Brewing beers are generally found in California.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden-orange into a pint glass. Frothy white head. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Predominantly grape/berry and citrus pineapple/grapefruit. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Grape is the main fruity flavor throughout. Citrus and malt backbone keeps it a full-flavor experience. Grape and grapefruit remain through the aftertaste. Tons of flavor. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Mostly juicy on the tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding Double IPA. If you're a grape juice lover (like me), this might be the one for you. Loving the citrus-grape combination overall. This is more hazy West Coast style, as opposed to New England-style. For those wondering, the beer is a nod to retired NBA star Kobe Bryant. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.488/5
