REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours a hazy light orange into a pint glass. White head, good lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): A mix of citrus tropical, floral, spice, and yeasty notes. Still mostly tropical aroma. 4/5

Taste (40%): Starts slightly tropical, becomes slightly floral/Belgian IPA-like, then reverts to citrus aftertaste. Interesting experience that I found mostly positive. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Some dry tongue with some juicy. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An awesome Double IPA. Mikkeller's San Diego taphouse came out with several New England-style IPAs throughout the year, each for a limited time. I like that this beer specifically has a rotating hop blend. Further proof that this hazy IPA style is here to stay. The beer overall was a good one, and I certainly hope that the releases will make their way to the Pacific NW. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.05/5
