What's on the Can: "Flaked oats, wheat and Pilsner malts are used for a creamy body and pillowy head, making the perfect bed for the heavy loads of Citra, Galaxy and Amarillo hops. To finish this juicy tropical fruit punch, we added Brazilian soursop (Graviola), a citrusy, milky and slight tart fruit, native from Central and South America. Drink fresh. KEEP COLD!"

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured slightly hazy golden-orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, trace lacing on the glass. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Good tropical experience. Grapefruit, lemon, and passion fruit notes. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Soft yet slightly tart lemon and passion fruit-like experience from the start. Complementing malt. Controlled citrus bitterness through the aftertaste. Awesome flavor throughout. Has the qualities of a New England-style IPA. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Juicy and creamy, with controlled tropical bitterness lingering on the tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding Double IPA. I had no idea what a soursop was before getting this one; consider it additional panda science. Apparently the fruit is also used to make smoothies, juices, or ice cream. The soursop tartness here is ideal for an IPA. Kudos to Novo Brazil for finding a unique (to me) fruit for use in a delicious beer. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.488/5
