REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy orange golden into a pint glass. White head, some lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing combination of lemon, orange, and stone fruit/peach. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Soft diluted tropical peach, lemon, and orange that increases in tropical experience as you get towards the aftertaste. Very drinkable and refreshing. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Juicy on the tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. Breakside has released another quality hazy IPA in bottles, following the likes of What Rough Beast from last year. I personally would have liked a bit more tropical intensity, but the refreshing nature of Kids These Haze is a hit with me. Another fine example of the aroma pulling you in and staying for the flavors. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.35/5
