What's on the Website: "Our Double Dry Hopped version of Melcher Street; this amped up American IPA features a heavy dose of Mosaic hops. The spicy, resinous, herbal aroma bursts with nuances of tart citrus, tangerine, clementine, and subtle green onion. REVIEW:

Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange to peach-colored into a pint glass. White head. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Pulpy and creamy tropical melon, orange, tangerine, and clementine. 5/5

Taste (40%): Follows nose, with some resiny/biscuity melon qualities initially. Lots of citrus orange-tangerine on the aftertaste. Extremely flavorful and dangerous. 5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Juicy tropical with some creamy mouthfeel and some dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): A world-class IPA. The last of the Trillium beers I had, and the one I liked so much at the brewery that I took a 4-pack home. Several Trillium IPAs simply produce unforgettable tropical drinking experiences, and this one is no different. Trillium, you've spoiled me. Trillium has become one of my standards for the ideal New England-style IPA. Admittedly, not all their IPAs are like DDH Melcher (I've had some that are a bit more grassy), but a bunch are tropical magic. 4.75/5
