REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy golden into a pint class. Frothy white head. Trace lacing on the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing tropical citrus; grapefruit and tangerine mostly. Very inviting. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Tropical-forward, mostly citrus grapefruit and tangerine from start to finish, including the aftertaste. Full of delicious flavor without being too bitter. Panda approves. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slight dry tongue, but lots of lovely juicy tropical tangerine. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. I grabbed this mostly for the hazy IPA qualities I expected. A very pleasant surprise, as a local brewery delivers a refreshing, tropical-forward beer most suited for the summer months, but frankly can be enjoyed year-round. Great price compared to some other craft beers. I'll definitely be buying more of this one. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.65/5
