What's behind the curtain, er, under the lid? A hearty blend of Midwest barley, wheat, and oats, courageously loaded with a lion's share of Idaho 7, Strata, and Citra hops. Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered, sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, some lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Tropical sweet citrus grapefruit with complementing wheat and oaty malts. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose. Pleasing, juicy, soft tropical citrus from start to finish, with complementing wheat and oaty malts. Finishes wonderfully with more tropical tangerine and other citrus notes. Very refreshing. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. I love the name of this beer, based off one of the few movies I've ever watched. Great flavor for 5% ABV. Mike Hess continues to brew kickass beer, and I wish I could more readily get them in Portland. The pop-top can is also very unique; that alone should be worth the buy for beer lovers. 4.5/5
