REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, trace sediment at the bottom of the can. White head; good lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing soft citrus tangerine and stone fruit with complementing oaty malts. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Citrus forward; octane presents itself slightly but stops short of overpowering. Lychee more present toward the back end and aftertaste. Lovely tropical presence throughout. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding Double IPA. As this one warms up, it starts to drink more like its stated 8.2%, but I enjoyed the tropical presence here. Citrus on the aftertaste makes me want to take that next sip. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.325/5
