What's on the Website: "Evolutionary, mind bending, juicy.

"This evolving series is an exploration of hop-perception, pushing the limits of your lupulin receptors. Each batch is limited and brewed exclusively for the Pacific Northwest. Hops, malts, and yeast may vary from batch to batch. The 7.6% ABV will always remain the same.

"To see what you taste, go to and check out information on the pint you are experiencing. Fields of Green will be released in limited runs, from time to time, available in color-changing 16-ounce four-pack cans and draft."

Hops: Denali, Ella, Motueka.

Where distributed: Fort George distributes just in the Pacific Northwest.

Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy white head; some lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Tropical stone fruit mango and citrus. Resin more noticeable initially, then mellows and blends with the tropical as the beer warms up. Complementing creamy, oaty malts. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Pleasing mix of tropical stone fruit and resin with complementing malt backbone. Tropical present from start to finish and more of a citrus finish. Extremely refreshing and drinks ridiculously smooth. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied; good carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class IPA. It's tough, but maybe "Michal" is the slightest of notches below "Lucy" to me. But make no mistake, Fort George hits another home run with this Fields of Green release. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.638/5
