What's on the Can: "Of all the collaborations we've done, this one with Coronado Brewing Company speaks of family. I can say there have been years of mentoring and sound advice - and to celebrate this relationship we've come together to brew a Double Dry-Hopped Hazy IPA. We literally doubled our dry-hopping regimen to create a layering of flavors that showcase the individual hop characteristics. Mosaic, Idaho 7, Citra, and Motueka hops round out this silky smooth beer with notes of melon, pineapple, and citrus. Cheers, Tom."

Where distributed: Belching Beaver ships to select states. They can at least be found on the West Coast. See if they distribute to you!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, lots of sediment suspended in the beer. White head, some lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Tropical-forward. Includes pineapple, stone fruit, and melon. Complementing oaty malts. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Initially soft tropical, then the tropical blossoms and intensifies. Good pineapple, stone fruit, and melon. Aftertaste showcases pineapple and melon. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. As promised, Belching Beaver and Coronado teamed up for a layering of flavors, plus an awesome delayed wave of tropical that made me want more. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.35/5
