REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Initially pours slightly hazy golden into a pint glass, then sediment from the bottom turns it more hazy golden. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can and suspended in the beer. Frothy white head, good lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Balanced malt with complementing grape, pear, and mango notes. Clearly a sturdy malt backbone here. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Malt-forward, then an explosion of grape, pear, and mango. Grape and mango engulf the mouth on the aftertaste. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent Double IPA. It's a pricey can, but if you like Double IPAs with a very sturdy malt backbone and grape/mango fruit presence, this one is for you. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.213/5
