REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy peach-orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered, a bunch of sediment poured into the glass and at the bottom of the can. Off-white head and some lacing towards the top of the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Juicy tropical mix of pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit, and tangerine. Slight resiny notes. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Slightly diluted tropical from the start through the aftertaste. Resiny qualities seem to upstage the tropical. More tropical assertion, especially on aftertaste, would have led to a higher score. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-light bodied, some carbonation. Juicy with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An awesome IPA. A beer with great aromatics, but left me wanting a bit more on the flavor. It's still a refreshing beer. I'd probably like a Double IPA version of this, if there was one. I love the color and design of the can. Can't argue with the price at the end of the day. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.175/5
