What's on the Website: "Why are Miracle Mike and his kangaroo, Boomer, being chased by blue laser beam shooting cupcakes and two giant cake mother ships? Let’s just say it’s an intergalactic walkabout turned ding bat wonky. To commemorate this weird alter-dimensional variation of Space Cake, we used Vic Secret hops from Australia to dry hop, giving a bright grapefruit note to our favorite DIPA. Enjoy Jackaroos and Jilaroos!" Read more here!

Where distributed: As of January 2018, Clown Shoes distributes to many states, mostly in the Midwest and East Coast. They actually distribute to Oregon, despite not having it listed in blue (as of October). See if Clown Shoes Beer ships to your area!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours hazy dark golden into a pint glass. Frothy white head, some lacing on the glass. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Pineapple and some grapefruit, with complementing malt. 4/5

Taste (40%): Follows nose, assertive malt experience. Aftertaste is mostly pineapple to me, with some citrus. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium to medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Dry tongue. 4/5

Overall (20%): A great Double IPA. I think Clown Shoes' regular Space Cake IPA is better, but this variation is also decent. The pineapple malt combo makes me want to pair this with vanilla ice cream. For science, people? I'm game. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.013/5
