To celebrate this time of year, we’ve created an IPA you’ll enjoy no matter your muddy tracks. This seasonal IPA sports a unique combination of traits we simply call “old school meets new school.” The bright copper color of a campfire, Dirty Bird features a citrusy, tropical hop aroma and rich, toasty malt climax packed with invigorating carbonation and a satisfying hoppy finish. Go on, don’t be afraid to get a little dirty." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy copper into a pint glass. Frothy off-white head. Good lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Tropical citrus, grapefruit, and pineapple, with caramelized toasty malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose; the tropical and the caramelized malt work in harmony. Tons of flavor from start to finish. Citrusy and hoppy finish, but not overly bitter. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slight dry tongue, if any. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. A delicious beer from Pelican, tons of flavor with each component seemingly complementing the others. Frankly, it's also a cheap craft beer option that's local to the area. ABV is right in my sweet spot. Kickass purchase. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.488/5
