Where distributed: Stormbreaker Brewing distributes in Oregon and could otherwise be found in the Pacific Northwest.

Appearance (5%): Poured mostly clear golden into a pint glass. Some white head. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Malty tropical. Passion fruit, peach, mango, berries, citrus. 4/5

Taste (40%): Good tropical (passion fruit and stone fruit) experience throughout. Malt and slight dank seems to outshine the tropical just a bit. Malt is most noticeable at the start and about 2/3 of the way through the experience. Malt and tropical seem to alternate in segments for me. Aftertaste is all citrus. Bitterness kept in check. 4/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Malt coats the tongue, slight creaminess. Not much dry tongue. 4/5

Overall (20%): A solid Double IPA. Pretty much the same rating to the Triple Double DIPA I had from Stormbreaker last year. As noted above, the malt slightly dominated, affecting my rating here. A good price for the beer, and a nice tribute to an iconic Portland beer spot. Raising my glass to another 20+ years of great beer at Belmont Station and Stormbreaker Brewing. 4/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.013/5
