REVIEW:Appearance (5%): Poured mostly clear golden into a pint glass. Off-white head and some lacing on the glass. 4.5/5
Smell (25%): Tropical-dank. Pine, citrus, peach, and other stone fruit notes. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Juicy, sweet tropical explosion, with dank up front. Getting passion fruit, citrus, and peach. Clean and refreshing. To me, the right amount of tropical and dankness that I can drink for days. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. More juicy on the tongue, as advertised. 4.75/5
Overall (20%): A world-class IPA. Although I've had several beers from Modern Times, this is easily my favorite one from them to date. The Experimental Hop XJA2436 and African Queen hops are more tropical, dank, and stone fruit, while the Southern Passion brings more earthy notes. The combination here is genius. I love that it's right in my sweet spot for ABV. It states 60 IBUs, drinks like 60 IBUs, but packs kickass flavor. Totally worthy of a world-class rating from me. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.738/5
