REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured slightly hazy dark golden into a pint glass. White head. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Mix of stone fruit, berry, and complementing malt, with some floral. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; tropical, malt, and floral balance out and work here. Aftertaste is a mix of floral and tropical orange juice. Refreshing and dangerous. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Some dry tongue but also juicy, like its name states. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. The extra tropical/fruity experience here gives this the nod over Goose Island's regular flagship IPA. For 8.3%, it is very drinkable and dangerous. Another quality brew from a well-known brewery. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.35/5
