REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy/cloudy light orange into a pint glass. Very frothy white head, good lacing. Wonderful pour. 4.75/5

Smell (25%): Very tropical pine, citrus/lemon, and grapefruit notes. Complementing malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Predominantly tropical pine, grapefruit, and lemon. Complementing malt throughout, but not overwhelming; the tropical still shines here. Aftertaste has mainly citrus peel. Good bitterness but again just the right amount. Some octane. People may think this drinks more like 9-10% but it's just about right for me. Lots of flavor. Delicious. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full-bodied, good carbonation. Fairly juicy, not much dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. As one probably has seen over the life of this blog, I'm a big fan of hazy or unfiltered IPAs. This one was a limited-time offering (seen in May) so I had to snatch it up. Again, Southern Tier brought tons of tropical flavor on this one. From the appearance to the taste, this delivered on all fronts. Great price. Huge recommend from me. 4.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.563/5
