Commercial Description: "In an effort to craft the juiciest triple IPA known to mankind, we deployed the use of some of our favorite tropical and juicy hop varietals. Galaxy, Citra and Hallertau Blanc come together to create layers of juice and give it a wicked tropical punch. Using our favorite English yeast strain and liberal use of wheat and oats, the appearance screams orange juice. A deceptively smooth and drinkable 11.8% abv make JuiceJuiceJuiceStorm the perfect sipper for a cool spring day."

Where distributed: As of June 2017, 3 Magnets Brewing can be found in the Pacific Northwest. I do not know if they distribute elsewhere. See if 3 Magnets ships to your area!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy peach colored (or burnt orange) into a tulip glass. Frothy off-white head, with trace lacing on the glass. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Sweet malt-forward, with tropical grapefruit, peach, citrus, and some pine. 4/5

Taste (40%): Intense, strong octane and malt at the start. Tropical grapefruit, peach, and pine on the aftertaste. I cannot see myself drinking the entire 16 oz can, but I'll drink half of it (i.e. a 6-8 oz pour of this at a bar). Confirmed that it really is an 11.8% beer. For me, the octane was not as potent when I left it out for a short while to warm up. 3.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Full-bodied, good carbonation. Velvety at first, then turns dry on the tongue. 4/5

Overall (20%): A good Triple IPA. While 3 Magnets single and double IPAs are generally big hits with me, the octane is probably too much here for me to drink the entire can. That said, it mellows out a bit when it's warmer, and delivers on tropical aroma and aftertaste. One can of JuiceJuiceJuice Storm should be ideal to share with a fellow Triple IPA fan. 3.75/5

Final Weighted Rating: 3.863/5
