REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Pours clear golden into a pint glass. Frothy
off-white head. Some lacing remains on the
glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Tropical citrus and slight dank/malty. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit, among other fruits. Smells wonderful. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Hoppy, dank, and citrus-bitter from start to finish. More citrus and citrus peel towards the aftertaste. It might mellow out ever so slightly at the end in terms of flavor. No traces of octane anywhere, extremely drinkable. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Tropical-hop bitterness lingers on the tongue in a pleasing way. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Another pFriem IPA that has gotten a number of rave reviews. Lovely flavor without getting too malty or alcoholic in flavor. As noted above, extremely drinkable. Pretty much a steal at $4.15 for a 500 mL bottle. If you see this on the shelves (likely next fall?), I highly recommend getting it. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
