What's on the Website: "This beer starts with a wonderfully aromatic double IPA featuring Simcoe and Summit hops, and then we take it to the next level by adding grapefruit. The aroma is pure grapefruit rind, while the body and flavor remain true to a West Coast IPA, finishing bitter and dry." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured clear golden into a pint glass. White head. Some carbonation with tiny bubbles. Some lacing on the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Very tropical (grapefruit, passion fruit) with clear emphasis on grapefruit rind. Smells like grapefruit soda. Pleasing and as advertised. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Tons of grapefruit from start to finish. Finishes clean, not too malty, not a lot of octane. Although it says 100+ IBU, it is not overly bitter - at least for me. Exceptional. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slightly dry on the tongue, and some bitterness does linger in a pleasurable way. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): A world-class Double IPA. A side of me had a feeling that this would be the best one, and I'm glad I was correct on that. Grapefruit Dude has quite a few similarities to beers like Grapefruit Sculpin. It does remain above-average in price, but this is a must-have in my book, especially if you dig the grapefruit flavors. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.713/5
