What's on the Website: "Crooked Tree IPA is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as 'grapefruit,' our hops give this beer an excellent citrus flavor that finishes dry, crisp, and clean. Due to our unique dry-hopping methods it has won several medals in the India Pale Ale category." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours slightly hazy dark golden into a cup. Frothy off-white head. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Slight malt, some tropical, slight floral. Balanced. 4/5
Taste (40%): Malt and hop-forward; pine and floral with some grapefruit. Balanced and pleasurable. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. 4/5
Overall (20%): A great IPA. Especially after getting a bitter barrage on Short's beer, this one was much easier to drink and more balanced. At the same time, it did not necessarily leave a lasting impression (whether in a positive or negative way) that the Huma Lupa Licious clearly provided. While I went through more of a roller coaster love-indifferent relationship on Short's, this one was just a standard IPA for me without the ups and downs. 3.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.063/5
