REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured slightly hazy light golden-orange into a pint glass. White head, good lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Amazing sweet orange and tangerine. Inviting tropical. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; refreshing tropical orange and tangerine from start to finish. Aftertaste provides more sweet orange and tangerine. Eerily tastes like orange-tangerine juice. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy mouthfeel, with a little dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class IPA. This is the second Revision Brewing hazy IPA I've had in 2017, and both have been smash hits. It was a tough call, but on this day, I have to give the edge here to Tahoe Haze. Disco Ninja had more of a dry tongue, and Tahoe Haze brought just a bit more orange and tangerine for my enjoyment. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.713/5
