Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head; good lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Resinous/dank grapefruit zest with balancing sweet melon. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Very refreshing, assertive grapefruit zest. Sturdy malt backbone that merely supports the tropical experience. Probably more bitter than a traditional New England style, but any sweet citrus or stone fruit keeps it from being too bitter. Virtually a perfect hybrid between West Coast and New England style. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Extremely juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.75/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class Double IPA. It may have a resinous, dank aroma, but is way more tropical on the tongue. Delicious grapefruit zest provides a delightful refreshing experience. Another Foreign Objects beer that I could drink all day. 4.75/5
