What's on the Can/Website: "In looking at our beer line up we felt what was missing was an IPA solely designed for San Diego living. With that in mind, the hop to highlight was kinda a no brainer - Citra. We chose to counter balance the Citra with the ever classic Columbus. Wafting with aromas and subsequent flavors of grapefruit, melon, lime, passion fruit, and lychee with lurking earthy and pine notes this beer is ideal for a refill...or 2. At a modest, yet respectable, 6.0% and 36 IBU and sporting a soft mouthfeel this 'ode to a forever summer' is a straight up crusher." Read more here!

Food Pairings: Pariah Brewing suggests Aguachile Tostadas, or Spiced Pork Loin with goat cheese and sage.

Hops: Citra, Columbus.

Where distributed: Pariah Brewing beers are generally found in California.

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy dark golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered. Frothy white head, some lacing on the glass. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Inviting tropical grapefruit, melon, and lime with complementing pine notes. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Follows the nose The tropical is the clear star. A pleasing, everyday beer with great citrus/fruity and some pine flavor. Any bitterness is kept in check. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with virtually no dry tongue. 4.75/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. This is the type of IPA that I would love to drink after coming home from work, a refreshing and tropical-forward brew that's pleasing on flavor/aroma. It might not be the big-time upper echelon (at least from the hundreds of IPAs I've had), but it's still a delicious beer that I won't pass up. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.525/5
