REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy dark golden to light amber into a pint glass. Frothy off-white head. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Mostly tropical pineapple with complementing malt. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): Dank-forward but otherwise follows the nose. Tropical pineapple is lovely. Any octane is well hidden. Controlled bitterness. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Slightly sticky or syrupy on the tongue, allowing the citrus-bitterness to linger. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding Double IPA. I definitely preferred this one over the Mad Hatter beer I drank over a year ago. It may be 9%, but the tropical is the star, and the beer is refreshing and satisfying. Also was a fan of the artwork on the can. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.4/5
