When brewed? Possible limited-time beer. Part of their Rotational Double IPA Series (RIIPA). Released in 2018. Enjoyed as part of Melvin's International 2x4 Day.

What's on the Website: "Chuck Morris is a Double IPA that will roundhouse kick, karate chop and machine gun its way to your heart. Dry hopped to perfection, power-packed like its namesake, but as balanced as a fighter doing the splits. Make sure to stretch first!" Read more here!

Where distributed: For 2018, Melvin Brewing releases Chuck Morris and other RIIPA beers on a rotating calendar with other states. Oregon gets this beer in March/April, while Washington gets it in September/October. Check out the RIIPA list!

REVIEW:

Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into an IPA glass. Frothy white head, awesome lacing. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Grapefruit and tangerine with complementing hoppy/slight malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Slight malt forward, with hoppy tangerine grapefruit and more citrus through the aftertaste. Extremely smooth and very drinkable. 4.75/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Fairly juicy with virtually no dry tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. Chuck Morris basically roundhouse-kicked my palate in a good way. Lots of delicious citrus here and a wonderful go-to option any day of the week. 4.5/5

This blog is simply a place for me to review various craft beers that I can get my hands on. I will generally try to buy the bottle (or can) if possible. Obviously, this is all subjective.

Right now, I am most likely to drink IPAs or Double IPAs, but that can change. If there are any "must-buy" beers out there, I hope to find and review it.

Before people start asking, no, I likely will not be brewing my own beer -- although I have considered it before. Lack of patience. :-/
