REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy golden into a pint glass. White head. Some lacing at the top of the glass. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Lots of tropical citrus. Orange, tangerine, and passion fruit. Slight dank notes. 4.75/5

Taste (40%): Tons of tropical citrus with slight, controlled bitterness. Clean citrus flavors all the way through. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Mostly juicy. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. This is the first Artifex Brewing beer I've had. Delicious and full of tropical. A good take on the New England-style IPA. I do wish they distributed to the Pacific NW (and who knows, perhaps that may happen one day). If I get back to Southern California, I'll try to find this brewery if I have some time. I'd be happy to get this particular beer again. 4.5/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.55/5
