What's on the Website: "Our award-winning IPA with a paradise vibe. With Aloha Sculpin, we used Brux Trois yeast to turn our award-winning IPA into a tropical oasis, with bright and refreshing notes of mango, pineapple, and guava. This yeast also adds a slight haze to the beer, creating a smooth mouthfeel to round out its juicy character. Simply put, this is paradise in the palm of your hands." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Smell (25%): Good tropical, mostly getting the pineapple and guava here. 4.25/5
Taste (40%): Some malty and fermented/sour notes at the start, but then an abundance of tropical after that which continues into the aftertaste. The guava tartness comes through more than the other tropical flavors. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Mostly juicy, with slight dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An awesome IPA. The latest Sculpin beer got mostly positive reviews with me. The fermented portion is usually hit or miss, and I haven't been a huge fan of most guava beers for some unknown reason (I mean, I'm from Hawaii too dangit). But the classical Sculpin flavors otherwise present themselves and remind me why it's award-winning. Good to try for science. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.163/5
