REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured clear golden into a pint glass. White head, lots of tiny bubbles. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Huge tropical citrus. Predominantly grapefruit with perhaps some tangerine. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Tropical grapefruit and tangerine, some passion fruit from start to finish. Extremely refreshing, and the tropical bitterness is just right for me. Some of the sips I had were a tad on the watery side, but overall, still more flavor than most 6% IPAs I've had. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Some juiciness. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): A world-class IPA. This has virtually all of the qualities I want in an IPA, and I found that this beer paired perfectly with spicy/salty food (i.e. chips, salsa, tacos). Of course, I wish it was around more than just during fresh hop season (usually late September into October). Reuben's strikes again with a kickass IPA. 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.713/5
