REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured slightly hazy golden into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment suspended in the beer. Frothy white head and some lacing at the top of the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Tangerine and stone fruit qualities, with complementing malt. 4/5
Taste (40%): Very slight malt-forward, soft tropical and berry-like experience. Aftertaste brought some stone fruit and some citrus peel. Still, it is only pedestrian when compared to the amazing IPAs I've enjoyed over the years. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slightly juicy on the tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): A decent IPA. I thought I was getting their Fresh Hop High Tide variety (since that was what was on the website in late September), but I believe they just sent me their regular High Tide beer (the fresh hop label is different). High Tide was fine for what it was, and I happily drank it all, but nothing really stood out to make it a memorable one. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.05/5
