What's on the Website: "Features a blend of 5 hop varieties that delivers an intense hop experience with a smooth finish. Big tangerine and grapefruit aromas power Left Eye, Right Eye while the malt flavors are purposefully subdued. Fresh and lively hop character." Read more here!

REVIEW:

Appearance (5%): Poured clear golden into a pint glass. Frothy off-white head. Only trace lacing on the glass. 4.5/5

Smell (25%): Awesome combination of tropical-bitter (grapefruit, tangerine) and slight malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Tropical-citrus, with slight malt and bitterness at the start. Citrus peel comes to mind. Slight octane. Aftertaste brings out more orange and tangerine qualities. Tangerine engulfs the entire mouth. Very drinkable for 9.5%. A wonderful experience. 4.5/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium to medium-full bodied, good carbonation. A bit sticky on the tongue to let the citrus bitterness linger for a while. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. New brewery to try, another tasty beer. For me, the tangerine was the big star here. Not bad at $8.49 for a 22 oz bomber. I'm adding this Track 7 beer to the list should I visit California. 4.5/5

This blog is simply a place for me to review various craft beers that I can get my hands on. I will generally try to buy the bottle (or can) if possible. Obviously, this is all subjective.

Right now, I am most likely to drink IPAs or Double IPAs, but that can change. If there are any "must-buy" beers out there, I hope to find and review it.

Before people start asking, no, I likely will not be brewing my own beer -- although I have considered it before. Lack of patience. :-/
