REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured clear golden into a pint glass. Frothy off-white head. Only trace lacing on the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Awesome combination of tropical-bitter (grapefruit, tangerine) and slight malt. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Tropical-citrus, with slight malt and bitterness at the start. Citrus peel comes to mind. Slight octane. Aftertaste brings out more orange and tangerine qualities. Tangerine engulfs the entire mouth. Very drinkable for 9.5%. A wonderful experience. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium to medium-full bodied, good carbonation. A bit sticky on the tongue to let the citrus bitterness linger for a while. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding Double IPA. New brewery to try, another tasty beer. For me, the tangerine was the big star here. Not bad at $8.49 for a 22 oz bomber. I'm adding this Track 7 beer to the list should I visit California. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
