REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured a clear orange-golden color. Maybe a millimeter of frothy white head initially (when still very cold), but very frothy off-white head when the beer warmed up to about 55 degrees. Lovely lacing on the glass. 4.25/5
Smell (25%): Slightly malty with sweet fruity-citrus notes. Mainly detecting orange and grapefruit. 4/5
Taste (40%): Sweet-citrus, dank, and malty. Smooth-bitter aftertaste. Some (non-spicy) peppery notes. Complex but quite enjoyable. 4/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium to medium-full body, velvety on the tongue and good carbonation. 4/5
Overall (20%): A solid IPA. Another beer I enjoyed during the latter part of fresh hop season (those beers usually can be found in stores around September and October). I thought this paired very well with spicy food and Mexican food. 4/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.013/5
