REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured golden-orange into a cup. Sudsy surface, minimal head. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Hoppy, slightly malty, and a lovely burst of grapefruit citrus. Very balanced. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): A wonderful balance of malts, hops, and awesome grapefruit citrus. Very delicious. If this was really 110 IBUs, I will want to get more of this one. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium body, extremely drinkable, and a nice controlled citrus-bitterness. Slight carbonation. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An excellent IPA. In my book, it is very similar to Bell's Two Hearted Ale for being balanced on malty and citrus-hop flavors. It had a nice bitterness, but I still did not initially think that it was 110 IBUs. Since Tallgrass does not ship to the Pacific NW, I was very happy with this purchase. When traveling, drink what you cannot get back home. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.488/5
