REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; lots of sediment at the bottom of the can. Frothy white head; good lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Pleasing stone fruit, pineapple, and POG-like aromas (passion fruit, orange, and guava) with complementing oaty malt. Like a tropical smoothie. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose, excellent tropical from the start. Aftertaste includes stone fruit, pineapple, and guava. Very drinkable for 8.7%. Refreshing. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, good carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Another new brewery knocked off the list, and Juice Monster lives up to its name. The tropical shines and the octane takes a back seat. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
