REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered beer; sediment
at the bottom of the can. White head, trace lacing at the top of
the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Big tropical citrus with slightly assertive oaty malt notes. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; tropical citrus-forward with good creamy malt in the middle. Predominantly tropical citrus/tangerine aftertaste. 4.25/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-full bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent Double IPA. Again, perhaps a tad on the creamy malty side but it's explained by the 8% ABV tag. Still a big plus when it comes to tropical citrus. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.325/5
