REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Pours hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered; sediment at the bottom of the can. White head, trace lacing. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Tropical with complementing, yet assertive resinous and oaty qualities. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose, tropical forward with oaty malts and resinous backbone. Mango and melon detected. More tropical on the aftertaste. Very refreshing. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Pillowy. Very juicy with trace dry tongue. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. Almanac delivers an excellent NE-style IPA full of tropical flavors and an assertive resinous backbone (without overtaking the tropical too much) to take it to the next level. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.5/5
