What's on the Bottle/Website: "North Park is the hip, vibrant neighborhood we call home. Its sits on 40 acres of what used to be a lemon grove planted by the Hartley family more than 100 years ago. A straight ahead West Coast-style IPA, our North Park IPA is light in color, and dry in the finish, hop-forward but well balanced, showcasing several hop varietals on a subtle malt backbone. Available November through March." Read more here!

REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured clear dark golden into a pint glass. White head, some lacing. 4.25/5Smell (25%): Tropical grapefruit-forward with complementing malts. 4.5/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose; blend of tropical grapefruit and rye malts from start to finish. Controlled citrus bitterness. Top-notch flavor throughout. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Slight dry tongue, with good controlled citrus bitterness lingering. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An excellent to outstanding IPA. It's been a while since I've reviewed a Mike Hess beer, but they still got it in terms of quality. Typical West Coast-style IPA here. 4.25/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.413/5
