REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered. White head. Some lacing left on the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Passion fruit, orange, and guava (POG). Great use of the guava. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose, POG flavors from start to finish. Explosive tropical flavors and lots of flavor. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied; good carbonation. Very juicy with some dry tongue. 4.25/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding IPA. In several beers I previously had that featured guava, that fruit overwhelmed the other ingredients. Not so here. It makes me want to enjoy this back in Hawaii somewhere. 4.5/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.538/5
