REVIEW:
Appearance (5%):
Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Unfiltered beer; sediment
at the bottom of the can. White head, trace lacing at the top of
the glass. 4.5/5Smell (25%): Soft blend of oats, and tropical fruit (peach, mango, orange, and passion fruit). Also smells on the tropical creamy side like a creamsicle. 4.75/5
Taste (40%): Follows the nose. Soft tropical with complementing oat/malt. More tropical on the aftertaste. 4.75/5
Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Very juicy. 4.5/5
Overall (20%): An outstanding to world-class IPA. More amazing NE-Style beers from Revision. While the description noted "West Coast piney aggressiveness," I didn't really get that here; it was the typical soft-yet-assertive tropical bliss from the northeast that dominated. And for me, that's not a bad thing. Among the top Revision Brewing beers that I've had (and I've had quite a few now). 4.75/5
Final Weighted Rating: 4.713/5
