REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Poured hazy light orange into a pint glass. Some white head. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Tropical, typical NE-style IPA with more stone fruit aromas. 4.25/5

Taste (40%): A juicy tropical double IPA that follows the nose. Loving the stone fruit. Virtually no octane, some malt. Drinks very easy. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, good carbonation. Slightly dry tongue. 4.25/5

Overall (20%): An awesome Double IPA. As more New England-style (hazy) IPAs enter the Portland market, my temptation to take a trip to that part of the United States increases. For me at this stage, the key to a great new England-style IPA is keeping that lovely tropical feel while keeping the bitterness very low and any octane well masked. There was no momentary lapse of reason in getting Momentary Lapse of Reason. This was simply a great choice. 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.25/5
