What's on the Can/Website: "In mythology, the raven can play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules, hence the name Trickster. REVIEW:
Appearance (5%): Pours clear dark golden with reddish tinge into a pint glass. Off-white head and some lacing. 4.25/5

Smell (25%): Amazing tropical citrus, with pine and some complementing malt. 4.5/5

Taste (40%): Light citrus hoppy at the start, which continues into the aftertaste. Nothing assertive, but packs good flavor nonetheless. 4.25/5

Mouthfeel (10%): Medium-bodied, some carbonation. Not too dry on the tongue. 4.5/5

Overall (20%): An awesome IPA. My YouTube friends over at Cult Moo first told me about this one. It's not far from where they live, and now I can get Black Raven's beer where I'm at. On the one hand, when I try to compare this with other IPAs that I've had, Trickster didn't quite reach the memorable category. On the other hand, Trickster is a solid, go-to IPA that I could enjoy anywhere. If I head to the brewery, I'd definitely get this again (along with a few others). 4.25/5

Final Weighted Rating: 4.338/5
